The possible candidates should have the following characteristics:
magnitude difference between minimum and maximum > 0.5 mag
a sufficiently short period so that it can be observed during a single session (a few hours)
visible during these days and preferably in the early part of the night (we will observe starting from 21:30 onward)
limiting magnitude of 15 (note that with the Basovizza telescope, using a 30-second exposure, we can reach about magnitude 17, but it is better to work with somewhat brighter objects)
