      About the exam

      The exam will consists of 5-15 problem solving exercises:  

      • For some questions you will be required to write the solution directly on moodle. 
      • For other questions you will be required to solve the exercises on paper and then to upload the pictures. 

      RULES (Please read with attention)

      Exams will be on moodle and you will have a time window of two hours to take it.    

      From the moment you start the exam you will have one hour to solve the exercise

      Read with attention before the start.

      1. No uploading of pictures or files is required for today exam

      2. You have 1 hour from the start

      3. You  can start at 2 pm. At 4 pm exam will close.  If you start after 3 pm you will have less than one hour

      4. Most of the questions are numerical. Pay attention with tolerance: in some question the tolerance is 0.1.

      5. Exam is open book, you can use books, lecture notes and all resources that you like.

      6. You will find 14 questions, test is quite tough, time could be strict.

    • GENERAL RULES FOR BOTH MODULES

      1)  a sufficient grade in one of the two modules remains valid forever

      2)  to pass the exam you need to score at least 18 in both modules

      3) Only for module II: a sufficient grade in module II obtained in the past is still valid

      The indication of the chapters refers to 11th edition of the textbook. In other editions chapters could be differently numbered
