Lesson 4

Dear students,

I’m sending you a PP that contains the main concepts expressed in previous lessons. Don’t print it! Let’s save paper and ink! Just keep it in your phone/laptop/ tablet as a reference when studying.

And remember, every time you run into a concept you are not familiar with, you have the responsibility, as an English B2-level student, of looking it up in a good dictionary, encyclopedia or even Wikipedia. I personally recommend Britannica.com. It leads you directly to the Encyclopedia Britannica with its many possibilities to expand the concept you want to grasp and because its language style is more challenging than the one employed in other sites, Wikipedia, for example.

Hint: if you want to practice reading comprehension, subscribe to the Britannica Newsletter (it’s free!) They’ll send you interesting information daily and it’s very easy to unsubscribe at any moment.

 Happy Easter!

…and stay home. We’re almost at the end of this nightmare.

Regards,

Prof. Lourdes Gonzalez-Valera
