Dear Students,
Welcome to the Deep Learning Course of the University of Trieste!
We are happy to announce that the first lesson will take place on
11th October 2022 at 9:00
in Room 3B of H2Bis Building.
I am Alessio Ansuini (Researcher in Area Science Park), and I will be your Instructor,
and the Teaching Assistant will be Lorenzo Basile, PhD student in Artificial Intelligence
in this University.
We will post only important messages in both this Moodle platform and on Teams.
The Teams group will be used for sharing material and daily communications.
The Teams group's name is: CD2022 452SM DEEP LEARNING
and, in order to access, you have to ask for it, since it is a closed group by default.
When you ask for admission to the Teams group, we receive a notification and
you will be admitted within a few minutes/hours.
For sharing materials (books, videorecordings of the lessons, etc.) and to post
daily messages regarding lectures, projects and so on, we will use Teams.
In the Teams General channel, you will already find some books:
some of them will also be used during the course, but we will provide
you detailed references for each lecture.

and you should be able to reach it after we admit you to the Teams group.
In the first lesson, we will give an overview of the main themes of the course,
and we will describe its logistics so that you will hopefully have a clear picture of what
to expect from it.
