Working experience:

- Using a VME 8/16 channel scaler (V560N V2495 models). 

Hardware (and power-on) configuration: rotary switches and internal jumpers.

Addressing and data transfer capability.

Reading the module identifier words (first 3 words): bitwise operations with masks and bit shifting.

Reading the counters with A24 addressing and D16/D32 mode with an external NIM signal.
