This course was designed to give you the mathematical foundations you need for the entrance test and for your first year at DEAMS.

You will find different types of content, each with a specific purpose:

  • Theory text: read carefully, with pen and paper nearby. Definitions and examples are the heart of the course.
  • Lecturer video: only for steps where seeing the reasoning in motion makes a real difference.
  • Tablet video: the lecturer solves the slide exercises step by step. Watch first, then try on your own.
  • Quiz: not an exam, a mirror. If you get something wrong, the feedback explains why.

Advice: do not skip anything. Every section is short, but every concept matters.

Course structure
  • Modulo 0 Logic Notions
  • Module 1 Set Theory
  • Module 2 Real Numbers
  • Module 3 Geometry in the plan

How to use the course
  1. Read the text section: pen and paper, don't just read passively.
  2. Watch the video if one is provided: pay close attention to the logical steps.
  3. Before watching the exercise video: try the problems yourself. Then compare.
  4. Take the quiz. If you get something wrong, re-read the feedback and go back to the text.
  5. Download the PDF to revise offline.
