Hi,

here is the plan for week 2:

today (as soon as they are ready) you will get new videos on a new topic: sampling. You can also watch videos on probability if you have not seen them yet.

Tomorrow we meet virtually at 2.30 pm on MS Teams. instructions to come. It will be a question time session for you to sort your doubts. And maybe some discussions on epidemic modelling too. I expect to finish at 4.

Tomorrow you will also get another exercise sheet on sampling.

The exercise sheet on probabilities is due to this week, SUNDAY 22nd March, 23.59 CET.

Instructions for submitting will be available soon.

Hi,

the lectures on sampling are online. Enjoy.

Tomorrow we will upload also the second exercise sheet, which will be due Sunday next week.

As for tomorrow, we are going to have a virtual question time class at 14.30, on Microsoft Teams.

If you login with your student credentials, you should se a team named "Stochastic Modelling and Simulation

Now, as due to some Iprefertoavoidtodiscuss reasons I cannot plan a lecture ahead of time, I will start the call around 2.30, so be there. In principle, each of us can share video and audio, but forget about it - it will end up in a total mess.

So rules are the following: all of you keep video and mike off, and use the chat to book a question. Once you have permission, you can turn mike on (and maybe the video - we will try) and ask the question. Typing it in addition will also be nice.

I will have the video on, and share my screen with slides or a whiteboard when needed.

I added the exercises for sampling, and some explanations and hints thanks to Francesca. Deadline on 29th.

For submission, do it on moodle -there are specific activities for it.
