ONLINE PARTIAL TEST INSTRUCTIONS

 

Dear students,

 

on Tuesday, November 30th at 9:15 am there will be the second partial test. The test will be provided by the moodle platform, to allow also people not physically in the room to do the exam. It is worth noting that physical participation, if possible, is warmly suggested. In the following you find some informations and instructions on how to participate.

Please read carefully and be sure to have everything set up before Tuesday morning.

Remember to book your place through the #SAFETY4ALL app.

Before the exam make sure that:

-          You have an active account on moodle and you subscribed to the course moodle page (https://moodle2.units.it/course/view.php?id=8393). Only subscribed students can participate to the partial test.

If you don’t have institutional credentials contact us before Tuesday.

-          You have a working webcam and possibly a microphone (if you cannot come in the room)

-          You subscribed to the MSteams group:

-          You have Rstudio and R installed.

 

Before the exam starts:

-          If you cannot come physically in the room Aula Morin in H2Bis building, connect to the meeting in MSteams 15 minutes before the exam takes place.

-          Come in the room at least 10 minutes before the test starts.

-          Login on the moodle page https://moodle2.units.it/course/view.php?id=8393

-          Open a new Rstudio session (or clean your workspace).

 

During the exam:

-          Keep your webcam open (if you are not in the room)

-          Support material is allowed.

-          Any chatting/social media software is strongly forbidden.

 

The partial test consists on 6 multiple choice questions to be answered in 35 minutes covering both theoretical (4) and practical (2) parts of the course. Questions will cover the topics in the following moodle sections: Likelihood theory, Introduction to Bayesian inference, Linear Models, and Lab 3 and 4 (excluding GLM).
