We only listened to the first couple of minutes of the programme, where the biologist Chris Ponting presents his proposal and reasons for it.
Student task is to listen for the reasons he gives for the proposal:
"The power supply to western households should be cut at random once a week".
Of course, if you wish you can listen to the rest of the programme on which other guests discuss the proposal.
